All members of the school community have a responsibility for the welfare and progress of the pupils. The Pupil Support Team provides the platform on which this is achieved.
Each year group is led by a Director of Year who oversees the well-being and progress of all girls in their year. They are each supported by tutors and between them they work to remove any barriers to learning, celebrate achievements and foster a sense of community.
In addition, our five Directors of Year are supported by two Pastoral Support Assistants and two Learning Mentors, complemented by an Attendance Clerk and a Medical Welfare Officer.
The work of the Pupil Support Team is diverse and varied and cuts across all aspects of a girls’ life at Millais. In relation to tutor groups or issues of a pastoral support nature, your first point of contact is your daughter's tutor.
