At Millais School, we believe that positive mental health and wellbeing underpin successful learning, healthy relationships and lifelong achievement.
We are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every member of our community feels valued, respected and supported.
Our whole-school approach recognises that mental health is everyone's responsibility. We aim to develop a culture in which wellbeing is promoted proactively, concerns are identified early and appropriate support is available when needed.
We are a Thought-Full school and work closely with our Mental Health in Schools Team to provide support, signposting and opportunities for everyone to thrive.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact a member of your Year Team or the Senior Mental Health Lead, currently Mr Sutton – [email protected]
We can all support our mental health through the pursuit of activities that we enjoy and make us happy. When we engage in things with like-minded people, we often make the best connections. Click the link below to find out what is on offer at Millais this term.
Thought-Full is the Mental Health in Schools Team for West Sussex. We are fortunate to work closely with our team who attend school every week to provide 1:1 CBT as well as support with other initiatives. You can read more about Thoughtful and the referral process below.
There are lots of Apps and Charities dedicated to providing support for wellbeing. Feel free to peruse the list below and if you think we've missed one, please let us know, we can add it straight away!
We are very fortunate in Horsham to have such an amazing resource where students can drop in for support. Click below for more details.
The Single Point of Access is a referral portal that helps to identify the most appropriate level of support for those who need it. School can help with referrals or families can make their own. Please see process below.
